No Lost Generation Advisor
Katy Barnett has 20 years’ experience working on development and humanitarian issues with organizations such as IFRC, CARE, RedR, Save the Children and UNICEF. After a short period in the private sector she went on to develop expertise in child protection in emergencies, eventually taking up the role of global level coordinator for child protection within the humanitarian cluster system. She now coordinates the No Lost Generation initiative, which is an interagency effort to increase the scale and quality of the response for children and young people affected by the Syria and Iraq crises under three pillars: Education, Child Protection and Adolescents & Youth. She has co-authored several protection related publications, and co-developed a private sector guide to No Lost Generation.
